New Soy Wax Tefawax S41 / Golden Wax 464
Tefa41 is a new soy wax / AAK
Formation of the AAK
Soya International was founded in 1996 by the Sonny and Sonu Arora brothers, which was acquired by AAK in 2019. Today, their customers and distributors can be found around the world.
The company focuses on the procurement, processing and distribution of GMO-free specialty lecithins. Lecithin is a natural emulsifier, a by-product of the processing of vegetable oils.
AAK is committed to sustainable sourcing in its entire supply network, worldwide. The expectations and concerns of partners about where products and raw materials come from and how they are produced play a key role in sourcing the company’s raw materials in line with sustainability programs. It works regularly with their suppliers to verify that raw materials are produced in a sustainable way to protect biodiversity and ecosystems. They strive to minimize the impact on the environment while protecting human rights and keeping the livelihoods of smallholders in mind.

Tefa41 soy wax is a creamy soy wax primarily for jar candles. As recommended by the company and in my own experience, it is a low reading point wax, it melts more easily even in large quantities than other soy waxes.
When making a crucible candle, it is advisable to preheat the crucible to about 45-50 degrees C so that the candle will not extend away from the edges of the crucible. When making a scented candle, the optimal amount of added scented oil should be between 5-10%. Select the wick according to the diameter of the jar. Be careful not to heat the wax above 85 ° C. Then, when the wax has cooled back to about 65 ° C, pour it into the jar.
When using Tefa41, the surface of the finished candle may not be smooth. It is advisable to add a little of the molten soy wax to replenish the surface of the cooled uneven candle. With this technique we will get a nice surface.
Tefa41 soy wax is GMO free, up to 100% plant based wax is available at a favorable price in the www.candlehouse.hu webshop.
